Mursal, you did a great job summarizing the videos. Your speech was at just the right speed, and it was very easy to understand! And I liked the humor that you used in your pictures. :)

One of my design solutions that ended up helping more people than I thought it would help came when I was first experimenting with digital lessons. I heard a presentation promoting intellectual property and the possibility of the Internet threatening the ability of authors or content creators to make money from their work. This was back in 1997 or 1998, and the Internet was new. The speaker gave terrifying warnings about the way that the Internet would allow video piracy, music piracy, and all sorts of other "intellectual theft". He said it could result in the end of creativity for humanity.

I left the meeting thinking, "Hmm. I don't believe it. Every time I do something creative, it makes me have more creative ideas. And I'm getting paid to teach, not to make videos, so I'll use the Interne to try to make all of my creativity free."

Since that time, the speaker was, obviously, shown to be wrong. The Internet has helped people around the world learn from each other, and I'm less afraid than every that there will be an end to creativity if I share my work! :)
