This course explores the fundamental laws of nature - from atomic structure and chemical bonding to the energetics, rates, and equilibrium of chemical reactions. You will learn to understand the language of chemical formulas and equations, perform calculations, analyze chemical processes, and predict the properties of substances. Theory is closely connected with practice: laboratory work allows you to directly observe chemical transformations, conduct measurements, analyze results, and draw well-supported conclusions. This is not simply a collection of facts, but a powerful tool for scientific thinking that helps you understand the processes taking place around us and opens the door to fields such as medicine, materials science, environmental science, energy, and biotechnology. After completing this course, chemistry will no longer seem like a “difficult subject.” Instead, it will become a clear, logical, and dynamic language for explaining the world around us.
