It focuses on how individuals make career choices, develop vocational identities, and manage career transitions across the lifespan. Students will learn to apply major career development theories, administer and interpret career assessment instruments, and conduct basic career counseling interventions with diverse populations.
The course integrates psychological theory, empirical research, and practical skills, preparing students for work in educational, organizational, and counseling settings. Ethical, cultural, and contextual factors in career counseling are emphasized throughout the course.
