Module description:

Talent Management is an integral and important element of management in a company of any size. It is necessary to know the theory of Talent Management and most important it is necessary to know how to apply theoretical knowledge in a particular environment and situation. The module is built on sparkles of HR theory with case studies, discussions and tasks that will allow students to practice and understand each tool and method. The course will also provide a connection to the current situation in Talent Management in Kyrgyzstan which will allow students to apply their knowledge in local companies.

The module is divided into 15 units. 

Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of the course the Students will:

  • Understand and be able to describe all Talent Management functions from the prospective of HR Business Partnership

  •  Apply the decision making skills in various employee-related situations at workplace 

  • Create a Manning Guide, HR budget and salary grid for the company

  • Form an Employer Brand of the organization

  • Plan the workforce for the organization and budget HR expenses

  • Create a recruitment strategy and perfect their interviewing and selection skills

  • Form and maintain corporate culture of organization as well as formulate mission, vision and goals for the organization

  • Analyze training needs in an organization 

  • Explain the importance and impact of employee engagement and wellbeing and apply its principles

  • Develop the compensation packages for employees including competitive salaries, rewards and benefits

  • Apply performance assessment techniques and use them for employee development

  • Use HR metrics and reports to assess the efficiency of the HR function

  • Form HR strategy based on the organization strategy and HR metrics.

  • Analyze an Employer Brand of an existing company in a group and make their suggestions on strengthening and reinforcement of Employer Brand by achieving the score of minimum 40 points out of 100.

  • Develop a Recruitment Strategy for the selected organization by achieving the score of minimum 50 points out of 100.
