I think this is possible to use a printed map to spot all the places what our family members have lived for a generation or two. But they would not be easily possible to share and definitely working with them is time and resource consuming.

The negative point of printed maps is that they can be used for one time and each time you want to do a different activity you need to buy or make another hard copy of the map.

We live in a digital age, and classrooms must adapt to the use of technology. Rather than detracting from learning, technology can be a great tool for exploring and teaching in ways never before possible.

Yes, that can be the case, but there are also other research findings that indicate using these technologies or computer make us lazy and dumb, not smarter. But a rather important thing is that technology companies commodify us to achieve their own goals.
