"The Characters of Bishkek: Invisible Heroes"

Create a documentary film with a duration of 10-15 minutes. Your task is to tell the story of a person with a unique fate, profession, or personal history, who is little known but deserves attention. The hero of your film must not be connected to AUCA, and the filming should take place outside the campus. It is important that the hero of the film is not from AUCA, and that the shooting occurs outside the campus. You cannot film yourself or other AUCA students. The film must include an interview with the hero, where they tell their story or share their life experiences. However, the form and format of conveying the information can be adjusted according to your preferences. You should also include B-roll footage — do not rely solely on interview shots.

Requirements:

The hero must be a person with a unique fate or personal history, little known to the general public.

The hero must not be a student of AUCA, and the filming must take place outside the campus.

Format:

The film must be 10-15 minutes long.

The file format must be MP4, and the resolution should be 4K.

Filming and Sound:

Use a tripod and a lavalier microphone for stable footage and good sound quality.

Include diverse visual elements, such as shots of the hero’s surroundings, archival photos or videos, if available.

Deadline: May 7

The film must be uploaded in MP4 format with 4K resolution to Google Drive and provided via the e-course platform by May 7, 2025.
