This course is designed to develop students’ English language skills required for successful academic study, with a particular emphasis on academic reading and writing. It strengthens foundational grammar and vocabulary while developing students’ ability to understand, discuss, and communicate ideas in academic contexts. Students refine core grammar and vocabulary while building skills to summarize, paraphrase, structure, and revise complex ideas. Through integrated reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities, students will build the language proficiency, confidence, and academic literacy needed for university study.
